Helping Hope Happen Board of Directors
Marc C. Nespoli
Co-Founder, For The Cause
Owner, Fuel Fitness
Josh got his start in community service as a freshman at Berwick High School. After graduating in 2003 he went on to obtain a degree in Business Administration and Leadership from Babson College in 2007. From there Josh went on to spend a year in service with the AmeriCorps*VISTA program in Massachusetts. Today Josh is the Community Outreach Manager for Cradles to Crayons (C2C), where he specializes in community organization, grassroots fundraising, and event coordination.
"No matter where I've lived, Berwick has always been home. And so it will forever remain. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to find a way to say thank you for the fond memories and opportunities Berwick has given me since childhood - a chance to show my appreciation for everything the town has done for my family. Today I finally find myself in a position where I can begin doing my part to contribute to what makes Berwick such a wonderful place.
There is unrealized potential in our community, and it has long been my dream to create opportunities for the people of Berwick to actualize that potential. This foundation is that dream coming true."
Jonathon W. Nespoli
Co-Founder, For The Cause
Owner, Nespoli Jewelers
Jonathon was born and raised in Berwick and currently resides there with his lifelong friend and wife Kim and their daughter Lily. Jonathon, a Berwick High School graduate in 1995 is sole proprietor of the 3rd generation family owned business Nespoli Jewelers. He is a certified Diamond Graduate from the Gemological Institute of America Los Angeles campus. Jonathon has dutifully held various board positions in the community of Berwick as well as extended his hand in volunteering.
Reaching out to others and community involvement are two things that have always been a driving force for Jonathon. "For me it started mostly when I was starting to be more active in the community and seeing how many less fortunate there were out there."
As time passed it became more and more obvious to Jonathon that there was an imbalance of fortunate and unfortunate people. "I have met many great people who are willing and able to put resources back into this community and its great people. However, finding a way to bring those who need help and those who are able to help presented a challenge my brothers and I are excited to tackle."
"There are not many things in life that compare and give you satisfaction like seeing those in your community work together for a common goal and seeing your hometown community grow."
